To ensure the survival of humanity, one fundamental principle must be upheld. We discuss this idea on this page. It is crucial to prevent political and economic power from being concentrated in the hands of individuals, politicians, presidents, large lobbying groups, multinational corporations, and similar entities. Instead, power should be distributed evenly to safeguard democracy and the integrity of markets.
Our mission is to advocate for the dissolution of the EU as a whole, as we believe this union is leading Europe toward instability. Given the current global security situation, it is naive to think that the EU is necessary and irreplaceable. The original goal of economic partnership among member states has drifted far from reality. The EU is no longer what it was intended to be. In light of U.S. foreign policy, EU institutions and their leaders must quickly recognize the shifts shaping the world and global dynamics. If the EU fails to respond adequately in a timely manner, we will witness economic and political decline across Europe.
How should countries respond to increased tariffs imposed by the U.S.? There is only one viable answer. When a country imposes excessive tariffs on goods or services from another nation, the most effective response is not reciprocal measures but a complete halt on exports of all products and services to the country imposing the tariffs. Every nation is self-sufficient and possesses the necessary resources to sustain its population. It is important to recognize that tariffs serve merely as a tool of economic coercion.
Slovak Direct Democracy (SPD) firmly rejects representative democracy, viewing it as an unfair system that fails to serve citizens. Instead, it advocates for a model of Direct Democracy that ensures genuine public participation in decision-making.
We believe that true freedom can only be achieved by replacing the current system of representative democracy with direct governance by the people.
